You’re invited to join the Northern Virginia Marching and Gavel Society (NOVAMAGS), a local unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians.
NOVAMAGS meets once a month for a friendly, welcoming gathering where members and guests learn practical skills for participating in meetings, leading organizations, and understanding Robert’s Rules of Order. Each meeting begins with a brief business session followed by an interactive educational program designed to help participants build confidence in meetings and decision-making.
Whether you are:
- Completely new to parliamentary procedure,
- A board member or officer who wants to run better meetings, or
- Someone who simply enjoys learning how organizations make decisions effectively,
you are warmly welcome to attend.
No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to learn.
